Within the next three weeks, we will be working on our Hello Project. The project itself is entirely up to us on how we end up creating it, however we have been given a specific guideline to our project: We can only use the word “Hallo” or “Hello”, and it is the only word we’re allowed to use within the production itself. Music is allowed and sound effects from online are allowed to be used, but this is the main requirement that must occur.
Within this session, we have been talking about “Working Practices”, in particular we’ve been talking about the various different types of working with their pros and cons.
Within the past few sessions, we’ve been working on an introduction to editing – in particular, editing within Avid.
Within this session I’ll be covering on the different ways that you can become a cameraman, what they do, the roles to work up to becoming a Cinematographer as well as some research on a famous cameraman and the Auteur Theory.
Within this session, we’ve been looking into the various different types of ways the camera can be used within films to be effective and how the 180 degree rule is effective.
Within this session we were working on how you can become a Foley Engineer, how you can become a Sound Engineer and what the difference is between them.
Within this session, we’ve started working on an introduction to the different types of audio, and what audio is/how it works.
Within this lesson, we learnt about Lighting Engineers and how you could become one and what they actually do and are in charge of.
Within this session, we learnt more about Lighting. In particular, we were learning about White Balance. White Balance is the balancing of the colours within the image, where it reduces the colour shading and balance so it has a more natural setting.
